One way to make your Blogger posts more personal is by creating a signature at the end of each blog post. This signature can be your actual signature, scanned and uploaded to your computer, or one similar to most online forum signatures -- your name, typed out, and a quote you enjoy or find inspirational. Manually posting the signature every time you create a blog post can be irritating and easily forgotten, but you can add the HTML for the signature into your blog under the settings tab on your Blogger dashboard.
- Sign your signature on a piece of white paper using a pen if you want your signature to be an image of your actual signature and scan the image.
- Open the signature in any paint program and crop the image until just your signature appears and save it.
- Upload the signature image to an image hosting website. Recommended sites are ImageShack, TinyPic and Photobucket. It will generate a direct link to the image.
- Log in to your Blogger blog.
- Click "Settings" on your dashboard. Then click "Posts and comments."
- Enter the HTML or text for your signature in the box labeled "Post Template." The HTML code for images is:
<img src="DIRECT LINK HERE">
.
- Click "Save." Your signature will now always automatically appear when you create a new post.
